About us and our Sanctuary
OUR FARM:
TMMA Farms and Sanctuary is located in the North West corner of Georgia called Trion. We are surrounded with mountains all around us and have perfect weather in the Valley for raising alpacas and llamas.
We offer 20 years of experience in the alpaca industry with support in finding the perfect alpaca for all your needs while including superior genetics and all in color. From starting a new farm and looking for alpacas in Georgia , looking for a unique pet or exotic livestock or adding great genetics to your established farm, we can help.
Yes it's true, you can raise alpacas in the South! To inquire about starting your own farm, please don't hesitate to contact us to set up an appointment.
We have closed our breeding program to focus on our rescue side of the farm. Please contact us for possible rescues to adopt!
On a rare occasion, we also may have a rescue alpaca or llama that we feel is healthy enough to enjoy a farm with new friends and looking for it's forever home.
This may be an option for just that perfect farm. Our rescue side of our farm can help.
We feel there is always that perfect animal for that perfect human and if we can find it, we will!
OUR SANCTUARY:
Rescuing for years and mainly livestock animals, we have now become a 501C3 non profit sanctuary along with our farm.
With this side, we can continue our efforts to rescue mainly special needs livestock or that special second chance animal.
Some may have special medical needs, some may need some basic training or many just need a safe haven to live out the rest of their lives.
As we grow and continue to maintain our current rescues, care is 24/7 and requires everyday upkeep, feeding, haying, hoof care, medical supplies and everyday special care for our special needs kids. We also have vet care when a special rescue comes in with major issues or problems.
We continue our efforts with advancing our pastures and structures as we can.
Our sanctuary section of the farm is home to llamas, alpacas, donkeys, sheep, goats, pigs, cows, chickens and even all our family dogs have found us.
100% of all our donations are 100% tax deductible and go directly for the continuing care of our rescue animals and any future ones that we feel we can add if there is enough space, time and funds available.

Our Mission
We are a full working farm and sanctuary. We have been raising alpacas and llamas for 15 years. We also have been rescuing livestock for 15 years and specialize in special needs alpacas and llamas and occasionally bring in other livestock. We are now a 501C3 organization and focus on rescue and our sanctuary animals full time.
We do offer tours to our farm to teach people about raising livestock properly, working farms and our rescues. We also educate the public about alpaca and llama fleece and it’s useable fiber.
There are so many wonderful pet rescues but we have learned there are not enough livestock rescues and even less special needs livestock rescues. We feel with our knowledge of livestock and alpacas and llamas along with our super vet and our farm, we can offer guidance, support and forever homes for our special needs cases.
Our Vision
A full working farm, a full working sanctuary and a magical place for the public to visit, interact with the animals and learn about farming, camelids, livestock and the proper way to take care of animals.
An educational facility for farming, raising livestock and helping the many special needs livestock that find their way to us to live out the rest of their lives never again in fear or hungry.
